Yul Min Park is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Political Science at the University of Pittsburgh. She received her Ph.D. in Government from the University of Texas at Austin, where she was affiliated with the Irma Rangel Public Policy Institute and taught courses on statistical methodology. Her research areas include political communication, media effects, public opinion, and political behavior, using survey experiments and computational methods. At Pitt, she focuses on research addressing economic and racial inequality (including equality of opportunity, redistribution, affirmative action, and reparations), attitudes and preferences for fairness, beliefs about meritocracy, and knowledge of historical and structural inequality. Park holds an M.A. and a B.A. from Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea.
